ok, ok....honestly hereh im not kidding....put dot 3 brake fluid on it, this works best on plastic melts....but anyway brake fluid will take anything off after a certain amount of time....just put it on, let it sit for couple hours, be VERY careful not to get on any paint you plan on keeping. It will not hurt your chrome though. I would recommend taking EVERY bit of brake fluid off before running the bike though, it will brown the chrome very quickly, just use rubbing alchohol to get the fluid off but trust me this is the safest method, wont harm chrome at all.
